Piab Group acquires Alum-a-Lift

Piab Group has acquired Alum-a-Lift, a leading US provider of ergonomic lifting equipment headquartered in Winston, Georgia, United States. Alum-a-Lift adds a portfolio of advanced electric lifting trolleys for applications within the semiconductor industry, aerospace, logistics, and other key segments, highly experienced and skilled employees, a strong brand known for its world-leading technology, the highest quality standards, and many new customers to Piab Group. For the 12 months ending December 2023, Alum-a-Lift’s revenues amounted to approximately USD 26 Million with 80 employees. Through the acquisition, Piab Group is strengthening its position as a world-leading industrial automation company.

The acquisition will be funded by equity from Patricia Industries and cash from Piab Group.
